About Dr. Eric Berg

The Knowledge Doc, Dr. Eric Berg, DC, started the Berg Institute of Health & Wellness in Seminole, Florida, in 1997. He is now the CEO of the Institute. The Institute aims to help people learn about their health, what their bodies need, and how to fix nutritional problems.

With the help of a keto diet and intermittent fasting, Dr. Berg gives people the tools to take charge of their health and wellness and reach their ideal weight loss goals.

After Dr. Berg graduated from chiropractic school in 1988, he did a lot of scientific research on nutrition for a long time. He was interested because he wanted to determine how food affected his health.

Now, Dr. Eric teaches people about a wide range of health-related topics. He is an expert at breaking down complicated health problems of all kinds, finding the real causes behind the symptoms, and developing plans for healing through nutrition. People now see his healthy keto diet and intermittent fasting, which is a long-term eating plan, as a key factor in achieving extraordinary levels of health.

Sharing His Knowledge

Dr. Eric Berg's health changed dramatically after he learned more about nutrition science. This led him to stop being a full-time chiropractor and start teaching his methods to other doctors, including for a while as an associate professor at Howard University.

His book, The 7 Principles of Fat Burning, came out in 2006. In 2019, he updated it based on new research and called it The Healthy Keto Plan, now a best-seller on Amazon.

In 2008, he also started a YouTube channel about healthy eating habits and other health issues. He now has more than 6,000 videos, 18 million subscribers, and 100 million views per month. He also made a course that teaches Keto Coaches worldwide about keto and intermittent fasting.

The goal of Dr. Berg is to put people in charge of their health.

Interests and Hobbies

Dr. Eric Berg is also interested in health outside the Berg Institute, especially his hobbies and other personal pursuits. He said, "It's become a hobby of mine to look for the real reasons why people get sick." This passion came from overcoming the effects of working too much and eating too much as "the meat and potatoes kid."

By the time he was 32, he finally had more energy and could keep up with his busy wife Karen and their three active children because he knew more about nutrition.

Eric's free time is now one of the rarest and most valuable things he has. He gets ideas and relaxes when he plays his hand-made guitar or works with Karen to develop new, tasty dishes that are good for you.

Dr. Berg now lives on a beautiful farm where he studies the soil and researches how to grow healthy food and healthy animals. Karen agrees that everything in the kitchen came from the earth.
